Our next American Chemical Society Lab Safety In the 2YC CHAS Chat on November 19th is going to be a special one! Titled “Bridging Two-Year and Four-Year Chemistry Education”, our excellent speaker Paul Jackson will discuss ways that 2-year and 4-year chemistry education can be bridged/connected via lab safety. It is not one to be missed no matter what level of academic institution you are affiliated with. Also, for those who may not be aware, CHAS stands for the division of Chemical Health & Safety. At the Division of Chemical Health & Safety’s next 2YC CHAS Chat, Paul Jackson of St. Olaf College will lead an exploration of implementing laboratory safety to make connections across curricula at 2- and 4-year institutions and support student success. Participants are highly encouraged to engage in the Q&A portion of the 2YC CHAS CHAT.  Additionally, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, including a curriculum map template and a curated list of American Chemical Society resources.
